Ingredients
- 1kg chicken wings
- 1 tbsp oil for frying
Marinade
- 3 tbsp SUNGHUE chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp black bean sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
- Wash chicken wings and pat dry. Place them in a large bowl. To the bowl add all the marinade ingredients and mix by hand to evenly coat. Cover and set aside from one hour to overnight.
- Preheat a large frying pan on medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add oil and arrange the chicken wings into a single layer on the pan. Keep aside the leftover marinade for later use. Once you hear a sizzle, cover the pan with the lid and fry for eight minutes.
- Turn the chicken wings over, replace the lid again and continue to fry for a further 6 minutes. Turn heat to low. Pour the leftover marinade from the bowl into the frying pan and toss the chicken wings around the pan for a further two minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
- * Amount of SUNGHUE chilli and salt added can be varied according to your family’s preferred spice level and to taste.
